◆ Tecnofocus · About us
The team behind every installation.
Tecnofocus is based in Riva del Garda, at the northern tip of Lake Garda. Most of our work is in Trentino-Alto Adige, Veneto and Lombardy, where our own team handles electrical, automation and network installations for hotels, businesses and private clients.
One installation,
one team.
Who we are. Tecnofocus was founded in 2025 in Riva del Garda by a young founder with a clear idea: keep electrical, automation and IT within a single team, with a fresh approach reaching across Trentino and beyond. On site we also have technicians with years of experience in the trade, gained before they joined Tecnofocus. The founder brings the idea; the team brings proven skills.
What we work on. Electrical installations, automation and IT, plus the electronic side of intruder alarms and fire detection. We cover all of it with our own employees and no subcontractors. It's a deliberate choice, and it makes life easier for us as much as for the client: when the same team has designed and fitted all three parts of an installation, whoever comes to fix a fault already knows how everything else is put together.
No. Hotels are an important part of our work, but we also work on industrial buildings, offices and, increasingly, private homes: residential electrics and smart home systems, in new builds and renovations alike.
No. A good share of our jobs are in buildings already in use: a board to upgrade, a network that can no longer cope with the load, home automation to extend to another room, a fault to sort out. In those cases the site visit starts from what's already installed.
The site visit always comes before the quote. Without seeing the existing installation and understanding how it's used day to day, any figure would only be a rough estimate.
No. One contract covers electrical, automation and IT: the invoice comes from a single supplier, and at the testing stage there's no need to get three different companies to agree on who got what wrong. If you only need one area, we do just that.
Yes. Our usual areas are Trentino-Alto Adige, Veneto and Lombardy; further afield it depends on the type of work and how far away the site is.
The stages of a project
A job starts with a technical site visit: we look at the existing installation, measure loads and spaces, and talk through the real constraints of the site. The quote comes afterwards, with clear timings and items. During the work the same team handles the network, the distribution board and the automation, and final testing checks that all three work together as well as on their own.
Who we work for
Most of our clients are hotels and guest accommodation around Lake Garda, where the data network, room climate control and electrics often share the same conduits and boards. Then there are industrial buildings and offices, where process automation and installed power carry more weight. And there's a growing share of private work: flats, houses and villas, where home automation and electrics reach a level of finish that ten years ago you'd only have seen in commercial buildings.
Materials and suppliers
The components matter as much as the design: for networks we mostly use Ubiquiti, for automation and electrics Siemens and ABB, brands whose spare parts and documentation are still available years later. Where possible we prefer local manufacturers and distributors, for a direct relationship and quicker support when it's needed.
How we work.
There's one contract, covering the IT, the automation and the electrics. If a problem between a board and the control logic turns up under warranty, it's always the same company that answers for it.
You deal with one contact, who holds all the technical documentation: the wiring diagram, the network configuration, the automation logic.
Everyone working on site is employed directly by Tecnofocus. That means one line of responsibility for health and safety, and technicians who stay the same from job to job: they know each other and, over time, they get to know the clients too.
The technician who installed a board three years ago is often the one who comes back today for maintenance. And when they're not available, the archived diagrams and configurations let a colleague step in without starting from scratch.
The phone is answered 24 hours a day, every day of the year. Our customer service team takes the call, assesses the request and sends out the on-call technician, where possible the one who built the installation. Preventive maintenance stays on schedule; urgent jobs are handled out of hours when needed.
Installations don't check the calendar, and neither do we: if something happens on a Sunday or in the middle of August, the phone is still answered and someone sets off. You don't need a service contract to call.
What we do.
A closer look at each discipline: what it covers, with the items that come up most in the projects we've done so far.
IT and communications
Data networks, servers and phone systems for hotels, offices, industrial buildings and homes. Structured cabling and configuration included.
Automation and smart home
Home automation for houses and hotel rooms, PLCs and monitoring in production settings. Right down to the heating plant and the pool.
Electrical installations
Residential, commercial and industrial installations: from the board to the circuits, with certification on completion. Or simply an extension to an existing installation.
Intruder and fire alarms
The electronic side of intruder alarms, fire detection and CCTV, running on the building's network and automation.
The people.
Where we work.
The three regions meet around Lake Garda, which is effectively the centre of our area: from Riva it takes less than an hour to reach both the eastern and the western shore.
Trentino-Alto Adige
Veneto
Lombardy
Outside this area. The areas above reflect where our jobs have actually been in recent years. For a project in another region we look at it case by case, mainly based on how long it will take and how many site visits it needs.
The phone is always answered.
The number is available every day of the year, public holidays included, for clients with a service contract and first-time callers alike. For a new project, email is still the easiest route: our first reply covers the installation, the timing and whether a site visit makes sense.
